ReWalk Robotics Ltd. a manufacturer of exoskeleton systems, today announced the appointment of Jodi Gricci to the role of chief commercial officer. Gricci previously served as vice president, global marketing, training, and service while ReWalk established each of these functions to support customers. In addition, the company's overall strategy with supporting the Veteran Affairs department; market development efforts for exoskeleton use for Spinal Cord Injured (SCI) individuals in the rehabilitation and home settings; and broad initiatives to gain support for individuals who need these type of technologies have been a major focus for Gricci.
"Jodi's demonstrated commitment to the company and the larger community served by ReWalk has been an invaluable factor in the growth of this company. She has been a crucial part of many of the developments over the past 5 years, and we are excited to have her take on a larger executive role," said Larry Jasinski, CEO of ReWalk Robotics.
In her new position, Gricci will lead expanded efforts on Capitol Hill in Washington; drive basic education and support for the rights of the disabled with many companies in the workplace; and provide continued leadership of the company's customer facing departments. Ms. Gricci joined ReWalk in June 2012. Gricci established many of the key customer functions over the past 5 years; had significant involvement with ReWalk's Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2014; and the development of a first-ever national procurement policy established by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs in December 2015 which ensures all qualifying veterans with SCI access to their own ReWalk Robotics Personal system. Prior to ReWalk, Gricci served as the managing director of Soteira GmbH, a medical device company based in Berlin, Germany, from November 2008 to June 2012.
