K2M Group Holdings Inc., a global developer of complex spine and minimally invasive solutions focused on achieving three-dimensional Total Body Balance, announced that President and CEO Eric Major has been elected chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Major succeeds Dan Pelak, who will assume the role of independent lead director after serving as chairman since 2010.

Major, a co-founder of the company, has served as K2M’s president, CEO, and a director since January 2004.
