Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently recruiting for a Senior Product Development Engineer job opportunity located in Cleveland, OH. Qualified candidates will have experience in implant design. This is a direct hire job and an opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing company.
Sr. Product Development Engineer job responsibilities include:
Develop spinal and orthopedic implant systems from broad concepts
Use CAD or Pro/Engineer to create solid models, rapid prototypes, and engineering drawings
Evaluate market acceptance of new product ideas
Work with patent attorneys to conduct right to use searches and patentability of new technology
Assist others in product development or third party vendor on the completion of large scale projects
Develop a broad knowledge base of spinal and orthopedic pathology
Document and organize design related information according to Design Controls
Travel up to 10-20% for attendance at trade shows, conferences, surgeon designer meetings and sales support
Implement FDA regulations for medical products
Transfer 2D drawings into 3D models
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or MS in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering
Two plus years in implant design, such as knee, spine, or hip implants
Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, human physiology and manufacturing technology
Experience with medical devices, orthopedic or spinal industry
Hands-on experience in CAD/CAM software (Pro/Engineer)
Experience applying for 510k
