Micro Machine Co. has announced that Andrew J. Miclot has been appointed president and chief executive officer.
Miclot brings more than 25 years of diverse leadership with medical device suppliers and OEM’s to the team at Micro Machine. Andrew Miclot was appointed interim president and CEO in October 2015 after serving on the company’s board of directors since mid-2015.
“Andrew brings extensive global industry experience with leading medical device suppliers and OEM’s that will accelerate growth and benefit our customers and employees,” said Rajesh U. Kothari, chairman of Micro Machine. “His leadership has already impacted the growth of the company”.
Prior, to joining Micro Machine, he was executive vice president of Micro Technologies, a medical device supplier, where he quickly reorganized and repositioned the company to dramatically grow the business. He has also held senior leadership positions at ArthroCare ENT where he increased revenue from flat to three years of near double digit growth. Miclot was president, CEO, and director of Ascension Orthopedics, and served as senior vice president, officer, and IRO with Symmetry Medical, a medical device supplier, leading the company from a $10 million breakeven to annual revenue in excess of $300 million, $51 million profit, an IPO on NYSE of more than $120 million, exceeding Wall Street expectations. Early experience includes leadership positions with orthopedic companies; Orthofix, Zimmer, and DePuy.

He has an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, an MA in Audiology and a BA in Speech and Hearing from Indiana University.
