Micro Machine Company, a contract manufacturer and supplier to the orthopedic and spinal medical device industry, has named Jeffrey G. Roberts president and chief executive officer.
Roberts began his career in the orthopedic medical device industry in 1983 and has spent many years designing, developing and manufacturing advanced surgical technology. He has a broad background in the medical device industry, holding executive leadership positions in several market segments including sports medicine, large and small joint replacement, trauma, and soft tissue repair and replacement.
He served as president of Arthrotek Inc., an arthroscopy company that is a unit of Zimmer Biomet. He later served as senior vice president and chief technical officer at Wright Medical and has served as president and CEO of two startup companies, NovaLign Orthopedics and Biomimedica Inc. Roberts received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Memphis.
