The Innovation and Product Quality organization will be led by Ted Bloomfield, who is promoted to vice president and member of Orchid’s executive team. Ted joined Orchid in early 2016 and focused on successful leadership and management of key projects. Most recently, he created, developed, and led the company’s Project Management Organization focused on new product introduction while also leading the company’s Orchid Supply+ and Maximizer offerings.

Functional responsibilities within the newly created organization will include:
Product Innovation and Design
- Contract design through the company’s Orchid Design facilities
- Innovation in implant coatings and additive manufacturing
Process Innovation and Advanced Manufacturing
- Automation and innovation in manufacturing processes
- APQP quality systems and management
New Product Introduction
- Project management
- Product launch
