Forécreu, a manufacturer of hollow bars for the medical device market, has unveiled new corporate branding. The new logo features a simple, bold, modern look with the “O” representing the single-hole cannulated stock used in surgical instruments and implants.
The logo also includes a new tagline: “Building Critical Partnerships.”
“This new tagline captures the value we bring to clients,” said Thomas Guéguen, general manager of Forécreu America. “For decades, we’ve been more than simply a supplier to our clients. We’re a trusted partner; a critical component of their medical device production process.”
According to Guéguen, the new logo is an expression of the company’s evolution in response to a dynamic industry. “We’ve grown and transitioned to a quick-response manufacturer that can provide materials from prototype to production,” he said. “We’ve also invested in additional ways to give our clients an edge to innovate faster. For example, we recently partnered with Chamfr.com to offer stock cannulated bars that ship within 48 hours. This helps us to better serve OEM-based design engineers.”
A family-owned company founded in 1952, Forécreu has roots in the industrial market, supplying hollow round bars in steel for use in manufacturing coolant-fed cutting tools. Today, the majority of its business is in surgical tools and implants for the orthopedic, trauma and sports medicine markets.
“After nearly 70 years in business, Forécreu’s greatest asset is its experience, and we love working with our clients to apply our product knowledge to solving their technical challenges,” Guéguen said. “One example is a technical paper we recently released explaining how using cannulated stock can be a cost-effective option in the orthopedic industry.”
The new logo and tagline will be applied consistently across all Forécreu businesses.
