Smith+Nephew opened a new commercial hub in Copenhagen, Denmark to better serve its customers in the Nordic region. Members of the management team officially opened the office in December.
The new facility marks a major investment in the Nordic region, allowing support for S+N sales teams who directly interact with customers daily. Customer support activities will be centralized at this location, which touts a modern office space with larger scale conference, meeting, and training facilities.
S+N employees also gain a modern working environment with flexible working areas designed to stimulate collaboration, focused work, networking, and socializing.
CEO Roland Diggelmann and UK, Ireland & Nordics managing director Si Tarry virtually attended the opening ceremony as well.
"This is so much more than a new office; it is a significant milestone for our Nordic business,” they told the press. “Our investment shows how much we believe in this important, growing region and I would like to thank everyone who has played a part in making this happen. I cannot wait to visit the Hub in person when travel restrictions allow."
S+N also aims to open a new distribution center in Gothenburg, Sweden in late spring of this year to manage product loans, service, and repair across the Nordic region.
