CyMedica Orthopedics, a medical device innovator, has announced a new identity: Motive Health.
As a consumer brand, Motive Health will provide expanded access to the company’s clinically proven, FDA-cleared pain management device for the relief of knee pain associated with arthritis.
“The idea behind Motive Health as a consumer brand was to broaden the previously limited access of our novel therapeutic solutions to everyone who needs knee pain relief,” explained Dr. Struan Coleman, MD, PhD Sports Medicine Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery and Motive Health co-founder. “After hearing thousands of successful stories from patients, paired with our strong clinical data and FDA-clearance for knee pain relief, we know Motive can help many more people get their lives back. Consumers will now be able to purchase the product online and take immediate control of their pain management and recovery from the comfort of home. I’m thrilled to finally bring this technology to the millions of people who experience knee pain every day.”
“This is a pivotal moment both for our company and for the future of knee pain therapy,” added Rob Morocco, President and CEO of Motive Health. “We are so grateful to the physicians and partners who have championed our technology from the beginning, and we are looking forward to introducing this therapy to a much wider audience of people who can benefit from our products.”
Motive Health’s initial product offering will feature a contemporary, consumer-friendly design all while continuing to utilize the brand’s FDA-cleared and clinically proven muscle stimulation technology.
An official launch date for the Motive Health consumer platform will be announced in the weeks ahead.
