Paragon Medical, a leader in medical device manufacturing, has accepted a $145,600 workforce training grant for its Mansfield, MA campus.
This grant represents an exciting collaboration with the Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership (GBMP) to enhance the skills of its workforce through dedicated Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training.
Randy Gibbs, General Manager of Paragon Medical’s Mansfield campus, stated, “The technical training program represents a pivotal opportunity for us to nurture and develop our employees, while further advancing our abilities to manufacture new products and improve current processes with a focus on lean manufacturing. This training program affirms Paragon Medical’s commitment to continuous manufacturing improvement for the benefit of our customers. This project is funded by a Workforce Training Fund grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The grant program is administered by Commonwealth Corporation.

About the Training Program
The in-house technical training program includes both hands-on and classroom learning for approximately 85 employees resulting in over 400 hours of training and mentoring over the next two years.
