Tegra Medical, a contract manufacturer for the medical device industry, has a new vice president of sales and marketing.
Lee Crowe will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities at Tegra Medical, including those for the Genesis Tech Center and the Quick Wire and Tubing group with its new e-commerce store.
“Lee will be a great addition to our team here at Tegra Medical,” said Mark King, president and CEO. “His strong track record in sales and marketing and years of experience in the medical device industry will help us maintain our dedicated focus on customers. He knows what is required to take an organization to the next level, and we look forward to his contributions.”
Lee comes to Tegra Medical from Swiss-Tech LLC, where, as vice president of marketing and sales, he created both near-term and future strategies to optimize revenue opportunities, increased sales coverage, added three new regional markets, and developed sales tracking tools for the sales force, according to officials from Tegra.
Prior to Swiss-Tech, Crowe worked at Symmetry Medical where he most recently served as general manager of the SSI division and senior vice president of international sales. He led the acquisition of Specialty Surgical Instrumentation Inc. (SSI) and grew global revenue from $20 million to $50 million. Lee’s earlier career included several positions at Smith & Nephew, departing the company as director of Image Guided Surgery, for the company's Orthopaedic division, and before that, a position at Linvatech/Hall Surgical, a division of Zimmer.
Franklin, Mass.-based Tegra Medical provides precision machining and contract manufacturing services and produces complex components and finished devices used in cutting-edge procedures for leading surgical, interventional and orthopedic companies.
