Enovis announced that it has completed the acquisition of LimaCorporate, a privately-held global orthopedic company with a comprehensive portfolio of implant solutions aiming to restore motion.
The deal merging these two orthopedic giants was first revealed in late September. The deal has an enterprise value of about €800 million, consisting of a €700 million cash payment at the deal’s close and €100 million in shares of Enovis common stock.
LimaCorporate fortifies Enovis’ position in the global orthopedic reconstruction market with a complementary portfolio of surgical solutions and technologies, according to the company. Lima’s portfolio includes 3D-printed Trabecular Titanium implants, as well as a comprehensive revision offering for shoulder replacement.
LimaCorporate’s portfolio also includes one of the world’s first modular shoulder systems (the SMR), the Delta hp cup family, and the Physica stem knee.
“We are excited to welcome Lima’s talented team to Enovis. The combination brings Enovis’ recon segment to $1 billion in revenues and creates a fast-growing innovator in the global orthopedic reconstruction market. This is another great example of how we use strategic acquisitions to accelerate our growth, add great technologies and talent to our company, and drive compounding value for our shareholders,” said Matt Trerotola, chair and CEO of Enovis.
