Cadence Recognized as One of Nation’s Fastest Growing Companies

Firm is one of six Virginia healthcare companies to make the list.

Staunton, Va.-based Cadence Inc., maker of precision products for the medical device industry, has been included in the Annual Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the United States for the first time. The Inc. 5000 list is determined using three-year revenue growth.

Cadence is one of only six healthcare companies in Virginia on the Inc. 5000 list. In the last 3 years Cadence (with facilities in Virginia, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania) has added 131 jobs and has grown 74 percent.

“It is an honor for Cadence to be recognized for the first time among the fastest growing companies in the United States on the Inc. 5000 list,” said Alan Connor, president and CEO of Cadence. “Our employees’ dedication and commitment to quality have allowed Cadence to earn the trust of new and existing customers, creating new business opportunities that fuel our growth.”

Inc.com and Inc. Magazine serve entrepreneurs and business owners.

“The largest distinction between consumer-facing Inc. 5000 companies and their business-to-business counterparts is that the former thrive by making customers happy,” said Inc. Magazine’s Leigh Buchanan. “The latter thrive by making customers look great.”

Cadence falls into the latter category, serving 28 out of the top 30 medical device OEMs listed in Top 30 report in Medical Product Outsourcing magazine.
