OrthoSensor Adds Two New Executives

New hires have almost 50 years experience between them.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based OrthoSensor Inc., a maker of intelligent orthopedics, has added two new executives to its leadership team. Douglas Leach has joined the company as executive vice president, marketing and product development, and Rich McKillop has been named senior vice president, global sales.

Leach joined OrthoSensor after more than 27 years experience in orthopedic sales, marketing and product development with Stryker Orthopaedics. Holding roles in both the United States and abroad, Leach most recently served as vice president, global knees and biomaterials research and development, and previously held the role of vice president, knee marketing for Stryker.

McKillop arrived at OrthoSensor with more than 20 years of sales and general management experience in the orthopedic industry, most recently as a senior executive with Conmed/Linvatech Corporation where he served as vice president of sales, North American and previously as general manager, Canada. Prior to joining Conmed, McKillop held increasingly progressive roles in sales and marketing with Howmedica and Wright Medical.

“We are extremely pleased to announce these two key additions to the OrthoSensor leadership team,” said President and CEO Jay Pierce. “Doug and Rich will help us build on the momentum that we have established. They will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our strategic growth plans and leverage our unique technologies to positively impact orthopedics and healthcare.”
