Precision Engineered Products LLC (PEP) has appointed John Manzi to the position of president and chief operating officer. The Attleboro, Mass.-based company provides medical and surgical devices, precision stampings, micro moldings and surface finish solutions.

Manzi will be responsible for the sales and operations of PEP’s seven brands: Boston Endo-Surgical Technologies, Brainin, General Metal Finishing, Lacey, MicroPEP, Polymet and Wauconda.

“Precision Engineered Products is in growth mode,” said Manzi. “In recent years we’ve significantly transformed our operational processes. This has allowed the organization to harness the power of the world-class expertise within each of our business units to develop the most innovative yet simplest solutions to our customers’ manufacturing challenges. My priority is to further develop the potential synergies that exist across all Precision Engineered Products brands.”

Manzi has been with PEP for 17 years, most recently serving as president of the company’s Brainin business unit, which specializes in metal stampings, electrical contacts, and assemblies. He will continue as leader of PEP Brainin until a replacement is named.

PEP has manufacturing locations in the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and China.
