Cadence Appoints New VP of Manufacturing

New hire brings more than 25 years of manufacturing experience.

Staunton, Va.-based Cadence Inc. has hired Jack Abato as vice president of manufacturing at its Staunton facility. Abato will serve as a key member of Cadence’s executive team and will be responsible for managing the manufacturing facility at Cadence’s headquarters.

Abato graduated from Osaka University in Japan and spent 10 months with Panasonic before heading back to the United States. For the last 25 years, he has had the opportunity to run manufacturing plants in five states and three countries—manufacturing everything from bulletproof windows to medical devices. Abato brings a wealth of manufacturing knowledge and leadership experience to Cadence, company officials said.

“We are pleased to have Jack join our team at Cadence. His experience and past accomplishments will help lead Cadence forward,” said Alan Connor, president.

Cadence is a metals manufacturing company focused on new medical technologies such as minimally invasive devices.
