Applied Motion to Construct New Corporate Headquarters

Motion control and automation solutions provider Applied Motion Products recently purchased land to build its new corporate headquarters in Morgan Hill, Calif., located in Santa Clara County at the southern tip of Silicon Valley.
 
The new headquarters will consolidate all U.S. operations (now conducted in two separate buildings located in Watsonville, Calif.) including production, warehouse, operations, engineering, customer service, and executive management in one location for greater efficiencies and synergy among the different departments. The larger facility will accommodate growth in the design and manufacture of motion control products including step motors, servo motors, drivers, and controls to meet growing demand while developing new innovations for different industries. 
 
“The new corporate headquarters marks a milestone in Applied Motion Product’s growth,” noted Don Macleod, president and CEO. “The size, layout and location will allow us to optimize operations, better serve customers, accommodate business expansion, and proactively collaborate with other tech companies in Silicon Valley.” 
 
Applied Motion Products expects to break ground on phase one of its new headquarters in November 2019, with construction completion anticipated for December 2020. During the construction period, operations will continue in the Watsonville, Calif. headquarters without interruption.
