Imed Surgical, CNSOrtho Partner to Offer Software-Guided Solutions

Imed Surgical Technology A.S. and CNSOrtho companies are joining forces to offer software-guided, individualized products and service packages under the brand JoinTuitive.

The JoinTuitive Orthopedics Solution lineup will offer individualized diagnosis, treatment and supply solutions to doctors and patients. The brand’s web-based modular software can be used with a purchase of a “product key.” Each software module is charged separately and offers separate service packages. The diagnosis package can be used with X-ray and computed tomography, which helps surgeons properly diagnose and treat conditions.

The supply package allows surgeons to access alternative products for different indications and to customize products with the software guide. 

The treatment package allows surgeons to use the software-guided product, which is selected according to diagnosis. The treatment package offers clinicians individualized surgical and/or pre-op alternative stimulations to cure. The package also helps surgeons plan for the procedure with guided software and simulation of the whole process; it provides guided software to doctors both in surgery and during the post-op process.

JoinTuitive offers assertive solutions for treatment planning with accurate diagnostics through individualized software and products. In the second half of this year, an agreement will be made involving Adam Frame and Isin T6 fixators manufactured by Imed Surgical and knee prostheses made by CNSOrtho. Among the solutions to be placed on the market are sterile disposable personalized cutting guides and implant equipment. In addition, in the optional 3D modeling group, models of bone, joint, implant and implant equipment allow the doctor to practice before surgery.

Imed Surgical CEO and Vice Chairman Tamer Isin said the company will continue to make scientific advances on expanding its useage area to all joints and limb bones with the addition of alternative auxiliary materials as well as other fixation materials and other joint prostheses to the product chain.

Imed Surgical operates in Hacettepe Technopolis, Ankara. In 2017, the company began developing and producing advanced technologies for external fixators, internal fixators, and orthopedic software with Frame, which is included in the European SME Champions League and it received an innovation award from Hacettepe University with Isin T6 projects.

CNSOrtho is a boutique manufacturer in Ankara whose priority is knee prosthesis. Company president Batu Zackaya has been active in the orthopedic sector for 32 years, concentrating his experience in developing and producting joint implants.
