Tegra Medical, an end-to-end contract manufacturer of medical devices, has established a European sales presence in Sheffield, United Kingdom, and has hired Neil Garner to serve as business development manager of Europe. Garner will report to Lee Crowe, vice president of sales and marketing. “This is an important step for Tegra Medical’s progression to becoming an international company and offering our end-to-end solutions globally,” Crowe said. “It dovetails nicely with the fact that Tegra Medical is now a member of SFS, which is headquartered in Switzerland and encompasses member companies all over the world. Prior to joining Tegra Medical, Garner worked with Neo Garner Ltd., a medical device consultancy, where he was founder and managing director. Before Neo Garner Ltd., he worked for Symmetry Medical (Tecomet), as senior vice president of medical products, operations and managing director of Symmetry Medical, Cheltenham, and as operations director for Corin Medical Ltd. Garner has a higher national diploma in mechanical engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Tegra Medical is focused exclusively on the medical device industry, providing end-to-end solutions from prototyping to full production, and from complex components to finished medical devices.
