Conventus Flower Ortho Appoints Dr. Anjan Shah as Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Shah is board certified and fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma surgery.

Conventus Flower Orthopedics has appointed Anjan Shah, MD as its new chief medical officer.
 
“Dr. Shah is a highly regarded surgeon with extensive clinical and education experience in the field of orthopedic trauma. Our team looks forward to partnering with him to help serve patients and the industry,” Brad Niemann, CEO of Conventus Flower Orthopedics told the press.
 
Dr. Shah is board certified and fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma surgery. He’s a staff trauma surgeon with the Orthopaedic Trauma Service (OTS), a division of Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI), where he focuses on complex orthopedic trauma and adult reconstruction. He’s also chief of staff and director of orthopedic trauma at Brandon Regional Hospital.
 
Dr. Shah is currently an assistant professor at the University of South Florida Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program and has authored almost 25 research publications.

Conventus Flower also appointed Jeff Culhane as its new chief operating officer in March. The company’s Flex-Thread ulna intramedullary nail system received an FDA nod in January.
