Synopsys Rolls Out New Simpleware T-2022.03 Software

Synopsys has released T-2022.03, the latest version of its Simpleware 3D image processing software. The upgraded software now features a shoulder CT tool in Simpleware’s AS Ortho module, contour measurements, better 3D printing capabilities, and aortic valve analysis.
 
Simpleware AS Ortho’s new shoulder CT auto segmenter maker artificial intelligence (AI) shoulder CT scanning automatic, segmenting the humerus, scapula, and clavicle. Anatomical landmarks are automatically positioned, and regions of interest automatically detected.
 


New 2D contour measurement software creates contours from straight lines, splines, and active contours, as well as D-shaped contours to compute D-shaped annulus dimensions. The 3D printing upgrade can generate interlocking 3D parts, modify pint and socket geometries before and after pin placement, and smooth part exporting workflow.
 




The new Simpleware AS Cardio aortic valve characterization module analyzes aortic valve location and dimensions. It also computes the annulus plane, aorta cusp plane, and ostia as well as centerline analysis.
