Francesco Bucciotti Named to Greater Memphis Medical Device Council Board

The Greater Memphis Medical Device Council (GMMDC) has added Lincotek executive Francesco Bucciotti to its Board of Directors.

The GMMDC was established more than a decade ago by the regional medical device industry to provide a benchmark model for success. By combining collective expertise and sharing ideas on educational needs and workplace opportunities, the entity has played an important part in maintaining Memphis, Tenn., as a leading U.S. industry hub.

“We’re delighted to welcome Francesco to the board. His engagement and expertise will be a valuable asset to the GMMDC as we continue to strengthen Memphis as a leading hub for innovation and growth,” GMMDC Board Chairman Jodie Gilmore said. “Together with Lincotek’s commitment to advancing the industry, he will us help drive key initiatives that foster collaboration, workforce development, and long-term success in our region.”

The appointment is a testament to Bucciotti’s extensive expertise and leadership within the medical device sector and reflects Lincotek’s ongoing commitment to the growth and advancement of the Greater Memphis region and North America’s medical device industry, according to the company.

As a seasoned leader with more than 16 years of medical device industry experience, Bucciotti is helping to propel organizational growth and innovation through strategic leadership, and will contribute a wealth of knowledge and a strategic vision to GMMDC. In the new role, he will help guide the Council’s initiatives to foster innovation, improve workforce development, and promote economic growth within Memphis’ medical device and biomedical sectors. Bucciotti is the head of Global Business and Business Development for Lincotek’s Medical Division, which provides integrated supply chain solutions to orthopedic manufacturers.
