Becker & Associates Names New President

Becker & Associates Consulting Inc., a Wasington, D.C.-based company that provides scientific consulting services to the healthcare industry, has named Ron Johnson as its new president. Johnson is the former director of the office of compliance for the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Johnson’s 30 years of experience includes senior leadership roles at the FDA in compliance and enforcement—he served as director of the FDA’s Pacific Region, director of compliance for the CDRH, and chairman of various FDA field committees. His agency experience, combined with the consulting services he provided to FDA-regulated industries, has helped prepared Johnson for his new role.

Johnson’s first day at the Washington, D.C.-based company was Sept. 1.
