Solstice Medical Recognized as Indiana “Company to Watch”

Firm manufactures RFID technology for medical devices.

Solstice Medical recently was cited by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Small Business Development Center network, Purdue University and the Edward Lowe Foundation as an Indiana “Company to Watch” for 2010.

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Solstice was one of 41 companies recognized from more than 300 applications submitted for the prestigious award. The award recognizes privately held, small businesses with fewer than 150 employees and between $750,000 and $100 million in annual revenues.

“Firms like these named ‘Companies to Watch’ continue to be the catalyst that is fueling Indiana’s emergence from a turbulent national economy,” said Mitch Roob, secretary of commerce for Indiana and CEO of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “Congratulations to this exemplary group of Indiana businesses that continue to invest in their communities and create new jobs in all corners of our state.”
