According to Small Bone Innovations, almost 5,200 venture capital-backed firms were analyzed by assessing the track record of companies’ founders, management and investors, the amount of capital raised in the past three years and the percentage change in the company’s valuation in the 12 months ending Nov. 30, 2009.
