Amedica Corporation, a spinal anorthopaedic implant and instrument company focused on unique silicon nitride ceramic technologies, launched four new products: The Valeo OL VBR, Valeo C VBR, Valeo Concise Cervical Plating System and Valeo BP Synthetic Bone Putty. The products are the latest additions to the MC(2) Silicon Nitride offering of spinal implants, a new cervical plating system and its new beta-TCP bone putty.

The Valeo OL, offers the surgeon yet another option for lumbar spine repair. The Valeo OL couples Amedica’s hydrophilic thin-walled textured surface with a bulleted nose designed to ease insertion and inferior/superior knurls to guard against migration. The Valeo C includes improved design features that enhance placement and superior imaging characteristics. The implant also has an enhanced textured surface to encourage bony attachment.

“We continue to be pleased with the acceptance and success of the Valeo Silicon Nitride implants. With the launch of these new products, the new MC(2) Silicon Nitride additions, an exceptional Concise Cervical Plating System and a truly unique beta-TCP bone putty, we continue to demonstrate Amedica’s commitment to improving cost-effective patient care,” said Ben Shappley, president and CEO.
