Tijuana/Southern California Welcomes Thermoformed Packaging Company Flexpak

Phoenix, Ariz.-based Flexpak Corporation has entered an exclusive sales and distribution agreement for thermoformed product with TriMedEx LLC. The partnership will help Flexpak expand its business in the Tijuana, Mexico, medical device market, which has been growing rapidly.

“TriMedEx gives Flexpak excellent sales coverage, strategic support, Mexico based warehousing and supply chain management expertise to service and to compete in this growth market,” Flexpak President Steve Murray said. “Tom Flannery (founder/partner of TriMedEx) and his team have set-up and run successful multi-million dollar medical device operations in this market and will provide Flexpak with a powerful presence in the region.”

Flexpak has capabilities in the design, development and manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile barrier thermoformed packaging for the medical device industry. Besides Tijuana, the partnership with TriMedEx also will help Flexpak reach the San Diego area of southern California. The ultimate value proposition of warehousing in Tijuana is to reduce inventory, space requirements and transit lead times for Flexpak’s customers.
