First Surgery Performed with Life Spine’s CENTRIC-T Pedicle-Based Retractor System

Life Spine Inc., a global medical technology company focused on surgical solutions for the treatment of spinal disorders, announced today the Limited Commercial Release and first clinical usage of the CENTRIC-T Pedicle-Based Retractor System.
 
As the newest addition to Life Spine’s CENTRIC Access Portfolio, the CENTRIC-T Pedicle-Based Retractor delivers micro-invasive access and foraminal distraction during Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusions. Using traditional minimally invasive principals, the targeted pedicles guide the initial exposure and simplify the process of anatomical orientation. Pedicle-based blade fixation is designed to provide a rigid foundation for surgical access to the intervertebral discs. Telescoping, fully-adjustable medial blades deliver powerful retraction with tactile finesse. Up to 30 degrees of blade tow supplement the system’s distractive potential and provide direct access to the contralateral anatomy.
