HD Lifesciences Changes Name to NanoHive Medical

HD LifeSciences LLC, a developer of 3D printed spinal interbody fusion implants, announced that it is changing the company’s name to NanoHive Medical LLC. The renaming is part of broader initiatives that include the recent building of a new executive leadership team and the current growth capital raise. Both initiatives aim to drive product development and commercial growth for the innovative Hive portfolio of 3D printed interbody products.
 
Patrick O’Donnell, president and CEO of NanoHive Medical, commented, “The launching of the new company name coincides with activity to scale the company in preparation for rapid growth. Additionally, management believes that ‘NanoHive Medical’ better communicates the distinctive nature of our proprietary technology and product portfolio.”
 
The company will launch the Hive Standalone ALIF System, a stand-alone anterior lumbar interbody fusion implant, at next week’s North American Spine Society meeting and plans to launch multiple new implant systems over the next three years, based on the Hive Soft Titanium lattice platform.
