Multiple companies released new products in October, including Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Paragon 28, Globus Medical, and VISIE.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech expanded its range of plate shapes, lengths, and screw lengths with its VOLT Plating System. Paragon 28 launched the Phantom Fibula nail as a less invasive option for ankle fracture repair.

Globus Medical’s new TENSOR Suture Button System includes ANTHEM, AUTOBAHN, and CAPTIVATE SOLA, which are FDA-cleared orthopedic trauma solutions. VISIE released a new Robotic-Assisted TKA system designed for orthopedic, neuro, cranial, and spine surgeries. 

The FDA gave 510(k) clearance to Foundation Surgical for its Interwedge Standalone Lateral Interbody System, which will help improve lateral spinal surgeries. Regenity Biosciences also gained 510(k) clearance for its RejuvaKnee, a minimally invasive, collagen-based meniscal implant to reinforce and repair soft tissue injuries of the meniscus.

Catalyst Ortho’s Catalyst fracture shoulder system, a reverse for fracture arthroplasty system to treat proximal humeral fractures (PHFs), received FDA 510(k) clearance.
