PeerWell Launches Daily Patient Preparation and Recovery App for Outpatient Joint Replacement

PeerWell, a healthcare technology company helping patients prepare for and recover from orthopaedic surgery, has announced an extension of its platform designed specifically for outpatient joint replacement centers. The announcement coincides with CMS greenlighting coverage for knee replacement surgery in ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
 
Experts estimate that the demand for hip and knee replacement surgery will grow 77 percent over the next 10 years with a predicted 50 percent or more of these cases completed in an outpatient setting.
