SynerFuse Inc. Announces Management Team

There’s a new management team in place at SynerFuse Inc.

“We are assembling a team of people who possess the important qualities of energy, smarts, creativity, and experience to bring our non-opioid, neuromodulation, pain management device to the spinal market,” said Justin Zenanko, CEO of SynerFuse. “Private companies, pursuing disruptive medical technologies, will provide important solutions as we move away from the over-use of narcotics in pain management to techniques that are more responsible, both for patients and larger communities. Our focus will be on a streamlined regulatory path, limited addition to the length of surgical procedures, seamless surgeon adoption, decreased costs for payers and providers, and better outcomes for patients. We are excited to announce our initial team.”
 
The management team is as follows:
 
Justin Zenanko (CEO) is a certified public accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance and startup development. He helped raise over $68 million with the board and management team of Recombinetics over the past seven years. His positions at Recombinetics included chief financial officer and senior vice president of Corporate Development. Zenanko now serves as a director on the board of Recombinetics.
 
Dr. Susan Alpert (chief regulatory officer) is a healthcare industry executive with a unique background that includes regulatory, clinical, business and technology experience. She previously served as senior vice president of Global Regulatory Affairs at Medtronic Inc., and as the director of the Office of Device Evaluation at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Center for Devices and Radiological Health. She serves on the boards of numerous professional organizations.
 
Dr. Gregory Molnar (chief scientific officer) has over 20 years of experience as a medical device innovator. He was previously the director of Neuromodulation Research at Medtronic Inc., and currently serves as a professor of neurology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Molnar has authored numerous patents and publications in the neuromodulation space, and his research and inventions benefit patients today.
 
Beth Lindborg (vice president, Operations) has a technical/business hybrid background. She facilitates effective communication across all levels of medically-based organizations. Lindborg previously served as director of Research and Marketing at BRTI Life Sciences.
