Enovis has begun a deal to acquire the SEAL external fixation product line from D.N.E. LLC. No details were provided about the transaction, other than its expected closing toward the end of Q2 2023.
“We are proud of the foundation we have built in the hindfoot segment with clinically differentiated products such as DynaNail, DynaNail Helix and Arsenal Ankle, and we are excited to further broaden our range of solutions with the addition of this leading external fixation line,” Gary Justak, president and GM of Enovis Foot & Ankle told the press. “The acquisition of these great products demonstrates our commitment to the Foot & Ankle space as we continue to disrupt the market and provide innovative, comprehensive solutions for surgeons and their patients.”
Enovis has spent this year heavily bolstering its foot and ankle portfolio. A few weeks ago, the company released its Enofix with Constrictor technology, the latest addition to its suite of foot an ankle products. The syndemostic repair device has a knotless, adjustable, and low-profile button.
About a week prior to that, Enovis acquired Novastep, Paris-based maker of the Pecaplasty MIS bunion system, as well as several CE-marked forefoot and midfoot implants.
Enovis began the year by launching its DynaClip Delta and Quattro bone staples for foot and ankle, as well.
