Carlsbad, Calif.-based Aurora Spine Inc. has named Richard Moss its new vice president of international business development. Moss has been vice president of international sales at Doctors Research Group Inc. since Feb. 2009. He served as director of sales in Europe for TranS1 Inc., a medical device company based in Wilmington, N.C., focused on developing innovative, minimally invasive surgical procedures for the treatment of lower back pain.

Moss served as international sales and marketing manager at Atlantech Medical Devices Ltd., Harrogate, United Kingdom, a developer and manufacturer of arthroscopic implants and instruments. He later served as director of sales of sport medicine for Europe, the Middle East,and Africa at ArthroCare Corporation based in Austin, Texas. He specializes in international sales management and distribution management.
