Huntley, Ill.-based Life Spine Inc. has begun a limited release of the Centerline thoracolumbar spinal system.
“Centerline offers precise, intuitive instrumentation, and smaller profile implants which minimize disruption of the patient’s anatomy while providing uncompromised strength,” said Rick Greiber, vice president of business development. “This system allows for a medial and minimally invasive approach to the lumbar spine and provides surgeons with another option in treating spinal pathologies.”
The Centerline thoracolumbar spinal system contains cortical cancellous screws with cobalt chrome tulip heads and rods, which allow for placement of pedicle screws closer to the midline of the spine, minimizing incision size and the amount of tissue retraction needed.
