Tecomet Inc., a medical device contract manufacturer, has appointed Bill Dow, chairman and former CEO of Tecomet, as president and chief executive officer. Victor Swint has stepped down from his roles as president and CEO effective June 21, 2022.
Dow previously served as Tecomet's CEO from 2008 through 2015 with great success on behalf of its employees and customers. He states, "The last two years have presented unprecedented challenges to our industry, but Tecomet has the talent and resources assembled to build on our momentum as we enter the second half of 2022. I look forward to connecting with our teams and partners across our global facilities during the next several weeks, and I appreciate everyone’s support."
Dow has served over 25 years as a leader and CEO for companies across a variety of product sectors, ranging from high-end MedTech to commodity disposables. He earned his BS in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and served in the United States Navy for eight years.
Tecomet recently announced new investments for its Cork, Ireland operation and will continue its focus as a leader and steadfast partner to its global customer base, advancing the foundation built by the Tecomet team over the past 50 years.
