The 38th Annual Meeting of the North American Spine Society (NASS) is underway in Los Angeles with a record number of 1,689 submitted abstracts.
The event's educational program features surgical, medical and multidisciplinary sessions that present the latest research, issues, and trends in spine through podium presentations, Best Papers, and ePosters, including the debut of Rapid Fire ePosters—fast and informative three-minute, non-CME podium presentations in the Technical Exhibition’s Red Theater.
“We have a revamped interventional spine agenda that has brought together surgeons and medical spine specialists to discuss spine topics in a truly multi-disciplinary and collaborative way not available at any other conference,” said Byron J. Schneider, M.D., one of five program co-chairs, along with Alison A. Stout, D.O., Sandeep N. Gidvani, M.D., Choll W. Kim, M.D., Ph.D., and Michael W. Wang, M.D.
A total of 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available live, while 96 credits are available on semand following the meeting.
“Gearing up for the most interdisciplinary and collaborative spine meeting at NASS 2023 in Los Angeles!” said Stout. “I hope to see all my colleagues and meet new connections as well.”
The Surgical Stadium returns this year to the technical exhibition, offering a new way to experience live demonstrations of the latest techniques and technology from industry, presented by leading surgeons, with time for questions. More than 300 companies are demonstrating the latest spine products and services in the technical exhibition, allowing attendees to get hands-on with new technology and meet with industry representatives.
Performance artist Stephen Fishwick is sharing stories with his art today.
